Ray qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1987 and became a partner in Walkers, one of the group's founding firms, in 1989. His specialisms include corporate accounts, management strategies and human resources and as Location Director Ray also has responsibility for the whole of the North East region. He is also active in the local business community and chairs the Hartlepool Economic Forum Strategy Group and is a Trustee of two prominent local charities.
