  • Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (admitted as a member in 1986)

Experience
  • Qualified in 1986 and in the three years following qualification acted as a personal assistant to two general practice partners with responsibility for a substantial portfolio of owner managed and family business. The role involved audit management, provision of general financial advice and other specific assignments relating to the acquisition and disposal of family businesses and the ascertainment of quantum in relation to business interruption claims and contractual disputes

  • David was made a Partner of Levy Gee in 1990 and following various acquisitions, is now a Partner in Vantis

  • Involvement in investigative work in relation to financially troubled companies from 1989 to 1993

  • Since 1993, David has been instructed on a wide range of both civil and criminal litigation support cases covering different types of business entities and industries

  • He has appeared as an expert witness in the High Court and County Court, as well as The London Court of International Arbitration and domestic Tribunals, and has acted as a single joint expert.  To date, he has given evidence under cross examination on eighteen separate occasions in civil proceedings

  • Appointed by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales to act as an Arbitrator in relation to a minority shareholder dispute and on several occasions as an expert pursuant to business sale agreements and share valuations

  • To date, twenty two appointments as a mediator in connection with disputes covering a range of industries
