Brian was an Inspector of Taxes before co-founding Williams Jeffery Barber (WJB, now part of the Chiltern Group) in 1982. Until 1992 Brian was Chairman of a company specialising in tax-effective property investment and was also a director of a Tarmac Group company undertaking a £700m marina development.
Before joining Vantis he spent 12 years at Morgan Cole Solicitors as Head of Tax and, from 2003, also led the Corporate Team. He is a member of the Vantis Professions Group, providing specialist advice to law firms.
Brian leads the tax planning service on corporate transactions and restructurings, working closely with core practice colleagues who provide corporate finance services to new and existing clients. Since November 2007 he has led the Strategic Tax Support team, providing a high-quality complete service to clients of Strategic Tax Services.
