IEA Coal Research was set up in 1975 as a collaborative project involving member countries of the International Energy Agency. It exists to promote understanding of coal issues, particularly clean coal technologies.
Having successfully outsourced their payroll to us for several years, the directors turned to us for help with their management information.
After a full review of the company’s existing book keeping and management reporting, we took over the entire accounts function. We set up appropriate procedures for reporting and control that reflected managers’ specific requirements.
Smaller firms have the most to gain from freeing up valuable management time. In small firms, management time is a premium commodity. Time spent labouring over something for which you have no training or little enthusiasm can be the most costly way to handle accounts.
