• Publishers of ‘The Non League Paper’ and ‘The League Paper’
London, July 2006 - Geoff Rowley and Nick O’Reilly of Vantis Business Recovery have been appointed as joint administrators to Greenways Media Limited on 20th June 2006.
London-based Greenways Media Ltd publishes both the ‘Non League Paper’ and the ‘League Paper’ and has a total turnover of £2.2 million. The appointment of the joint administrators was made following the discovery of financial irregularities and after the board of directors had taken legal advice. The company is continuing to trade whilst the joint administrators seek a buyer for the business and assets.
Geoff Rowley from Vantis commented: “Following our appointment we have had very positive discussions with the company’s staff, suppliers and the numerous journalists and photographers whose ongoing input is key to this publication. The paper will be printed as normal this Saturday and we will continue to publish whilst we enter into discussions with interested parties. A number have been identified and we hope to be able to announce the sale of the business and assets within the next few weeks”
