HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) have issued new model Gift Aid declarations following the change in the basic rate of income tax from 6 April 2008. By way of a reminder, it is vital that a correct declaration is signed by donors as this could jeopardise tax relief being obtained by both the donor and the charity.
