One of the region’s leading accounting, tax and business recovery and advisory groups is digging deep this festive season to help local kids receive some much needed toys in time for Christmas.
Vantis, with offices based across the UK to include three in the North East, Midddlesbrough, Darlington and Hartlepool, is pledging their support to TFM’s Christmas toy appeal in aid of ‘Cash for Kids’.
The three offices have joined forces with 'Cash for Kids' to encourage clients and the general public to donate gifts for underprivileged children. In doing so, Vantis has also been inventive in their own festive giving. Rather than send out Christmas cards to clients this year, the company has decided to use their £500 budget towards buying toys and gifts for the appeal.

Vantis’ North East Location Director, Ray Priestman, said: “We are delighted to support the ‘Cash for Kids’ Christmas Toy Appeal. In the current economic climate, we thought it would be a good idea to use the Christmas card budget to better effect. As a result, we decided to use the money to purchase toys in support of the appeal, helping many more children who would otherwise go without, to have a happy Christmas.”
“Our offices will be acting as an official drop off point for the toy appeal and we would like to encourage the general public, to get involved. All we do ask, is that presents are supplied unwrapped, to enable us to sort them appropriately. Please visit any of our offices in Middlesbrough, Darlington or Hartlepool and we will make sure that your gifts are included in the toy appeal.”
Dawn Carney, ‘Cash for Kids’ Charity Manager, said: “We think Vantis has come up with a truly simple, yet effective way to support this year’s Christmas toy appeal. Through this initiative, Vantis is able to help bring some festive cheer to thousands of young people, who often receive nothing at all. I would like to take this opportunity to encourage more companies, like Vantis, to come on board and support our ‘Cash for Kids’ Christmas toy appeal.“
The toys will be delivered to children’s homes, hospitals and children’s charities in time for Christmas Day.
