Vantis Restructuring Services was the recipient of the prestigious International Company Turnaround 2008 award at the Institute for Turnaround’s (IFT) Annual Awards Dinner in London on Monday 1 December.

Adrian Doble has been Chief Restructuring Officer of Hilite France SAS working to support its subsidiary in Haut Savoire, France, EBEA, a supplier of automotive components with design and manufacturing capabilities in Europe, Asia and the US.  This project was notable for various reasons – firstly, many aspects of the turnaround broke new ground in France, a notoriously difficult environment in which to effect a restructuring.  Secondly, it concerned a particularly troubled sector – automotive.  Against this backdrop, there were other cross border complexities including US based investors and German and Hungarian sister companies.

This is the second time that a project handled by Vantis Restructuring Services has been singled out for praise.  In 2006, NABI Bus Industries Rt, the Hungarian bus manufacturer with operations in Hungary, the US and the UK received the Society of Turnaround Professionals award for International Company Turnaround.
