Vantis, the UK top 13 accounting, tax and business advisory group, this week presented Hainault charity The Dream Factory with a cheque for £500, to help make suffering children’s dreams come true.

Brightening the lives of children and young adults who have either life limiting or life threatening conditions or who suffer from severe disabilities, The Dream Factory was chosen by Vantis’ Loughton team in support of the hope they encourage in individuals and their families in Essex by helping to grant their wishes.

Amid the current tough economic climate, donations by individuals and companies are now even more important than ever; The Dream Factory receives no government funding and relies solely on contributions from businesses and community fundraising activities to help keep hope alive in the hearts of sick children and young people.

Andrew Williamson, the newly appointed Location Director at Vantis in Loughton, was delighted for his team to present the charity’s Founder, Avril Mills, with the cheque. Andrew commented:

“It has been a privilege to support The Dream Factory as they bring hope and joy into the lives of so many families in Essex and the surrounding region. As a company, we made the decision to send electronic cards instead of printed cards at Christmas, in order that we could donate the money saved to help turn these young ones’ dreams into realities.

It is so important for local businesses and organisations to work together and support one another, especially during these difficult times, and Vantis is delighted to be involved with The Dream Factory in this way.”

Avril Mills added: “I would like to say a huge thank you to Vantis for their support in using this innovative way to raise money for our children and young people. Times are hard right now for everybody so it’s just heartwarming to see a company make a donation like this – it really will bring hope and happiness into young lives. We are delighted!”

Vantis’ Loughton location provides a broad range of value-added accountancy, tax, business services and professional advice to owner-managed businesses and private individuals.

About The Dream Factory

The Dream Factory aims to grant wishes and make dreams come true, to bring hope and happiness to children and young adults aged 3-25 years who have life limiting, or life threatening conditions or serious disability.

To help retain those memories our Dream Catcher works with the young person, their family and ourselves to create a record of their Dream. This record, which can be a book or a film, is presented to the family shortly after their Wish has been granted as a lasting memory of a happy time.

Any Dream is possible and when The Dream Factory says it will take on the challenge of making a Wish come true then we will do everything in our power to make it happen in the shortest possible time. For further details, visit: http://www.yourdreamfactory.org/.
