Vantis, a leading UK accountancy, tax and business recovery and advisory group, this week presented Eltham charity, Demelza Hospice Care for Children, with a cheque for £600 - the amount Vantis’ Sidcup office saved by sending electronic Christmas cards instead of printed cards, together with an additional amount that a Sidcup client kindly donated.

The money donated will help to continue and maintain the exceptional service that the hospice provides for patients and their families in the South London area. Over the past year, staff and clients at the Sidcup office of Vantis have raised over £1,400 for Demelza.

Demelza receives very little government funding and relies on contributions from businesses and community fundraising activities.

Nick Paterno, Location Director at Vantis in Sidcup, commented: “We are absolutely delighted to be able to support Demelza again with this donation.  The charity is such a worthwhile cause and we have been moved by the strength of all those involved with it.  Over the past year we have helped Demelza raise over £1,400 and we will continue to do our utmost to help them meet their annual running costs target”.

In December, Vantis sponsored the Bexley Business Club Annual Dinner which raised an additional £8,000 for Demelza.

Vantis’ Sidcup location provides a broad range of value-added accountancy, tax, business services and professional advice to owner-managed businesses and private individuals.
