
Teams taking part in the Vantis Corporate Challenge in aid of Rainbows and Loros were competing for two awards throughout the three month challenge.
The winners were...
The Platinum Suite
The ‘most innovative idea’ award went to the Platinum Suite (pictured below) for their 'Leicester's Got Talent' event which was held on Friday 15 May and featured 25 acts including dance groups, singers and magicians. Click here to see a video clip from the event.
The runners up were Cartwright King with their 2010 calendar featuring their staff and Full Square who created a range of greetings cards using artwork by patients and staff at Loros and Rainbows.
Parker Motor Services
The ‘most money raised’ trophy was won by Parker Motor Services (pictured below) who raised an amazing £14,038 from their coast to coast sponsored bike ride between Whitehaven and Roker. Over 20 staff took part including drivers, managers, sales rep and even the Managing Director!
The runners up were Mr Tax who raised £6,731 and Torr Waterfield who raised £5,001.
Mr Tax
This year there was a new award. The 'Judges' Award' was given to Mr Tax for their sheer determination throughout the challenge. The team ran an amazing number of events throughout the challenge including a luncheon, golf days, sponsored walk, BBQ, slim challenge, darts evening, fish & chips supper, car boot sale, a parachute jump...the list goes on! Not only did Mr Tax win this award they were also runners up in the 'Most money raised' category with a total of £6,731.
