Vantis Corporate Challenge Award Winners 2008

vantis corporate challenge trophy
Teams taking part in the Vantis Corporate Challenge in aid of Rainbows and Loros were competing for two awards throughout the three month challenge.

The winners were...

Pick Everard

The ‘most innovative idea’ award went to Pick Everard (pictured below).

You've heard of the X Factor competition but they came up with a new talent show...the 'PIX' Factor!

All the musical members of staff at Pick Everard grouped together, planned and came up with their challenge which was an evening of music and entertainment performed purely by Pick Everard staff.

This was a once in a lifetime opportunity to experience the raw talent that Pick Everard staff had been hiding away from colleagues and clients alike!  The event took place on the 22 May at 6pm, where their architects, engineers and surveyors really showed us their wild side!

The runners up were EAS Windows with their prize draw to win a conservatory and the students of Leicester High School who held an 'East meets West' fashion show.

C3 Construction

The ‘most money raised’ trophy was won by C3 Construction (pictured below) who raised £4,567 from their sponsored walk and balloon race.

The rather hilly walk started from Loros on 31 May 2008 at 10am and took the willing walkers (the whole office, plus a few family members!) through Groby all the way to Loughborough where they finished at Rainbows. The route was a tough 13 miles long.

In addition to the walk, the team ran a balloon race, selling the balloons for £5.00 each. The balloons were allowed to meander for one week and the one which travelled the furthest won a 32" TV.

The runners up were Parker Motor Services who raised £4,500 and Thomas May who raised £4,000.
