Vantis Corporate Challenge 2010

photoDo you like being challenged? Would you like the opportunity for your team to demonstrate its ability and raise money for deserving local charities? Do you really think you have what it takes to be the best out of 100 leading companies and organisations in the North East of England? If so, you are up for the Vantis Corporate Challenge!

For the second year running, we are throwing down the gauntlet to 100 leading businesses in the North East and would like your organisation to take part.

Here’s the deal…

We provide you with a crisp £50 note. Your challenge is to raise as much money as possible from the £50 over a period of three months (the only rule being it must be done ethically and legally!). All the money raised will be donated to three local charities: Hartlepool Hospice, Zoë's Place and St Teresa's Hospice to help them in their efforts to achieve a difficult fund target.

The challenge began in 2009 when over £33,300 was raised, this total was shared equally between the Zoë’s Place and Hartlepool & District Hospice. This year, with three charities involved, we would like to raise even more than last year and we need YOUR help to do this.

Awards will be given to those with what is deemed the ‘most innovative idea’, as well as the ‘most money generated’ at a prestigious awards ceremony in July.

Companies can enter more than one team if they wish; we simply need to know the name of each team you have entered and the nominated team leader in each.

The challenge will start with a launch party on Thursday 25 March at Wynyard Hall, where drinks and canapés will be served.  This will also be a great opportunity to meet the other teams participating and to collect the all important £50 note.

The challenge will finish on 30 June. Throughout the challenge, Vantis business experts and the charity fundraisers will be on call to offer support, help and guidance should it be needed. We are hoping that not only will this raise much-needed funds for three very worthy causes, but it will also generate positive PR for your company regionally and encourage excellent teamwork amongst those working on your company’s business idea. Perhaps you have a bright spark in your company and you didn’t even know it!
