Vantis donates Christmas E-card savings to The Children’s Trust in Tadworth
Vantis, one of the UK’s leading accounting, tax and business recovery and advisory groups, last week presented local children’s charity The Children’s Trust with a cheque for £750 - the amount Vantis’ Epsom office saved by sending electronic Christmas cards instead of printed cards.
In addition Ian Ross, Location Director at Vantis in Epsom, was delighted to present The Children’s Trust with the donations collected from his staff at the Epsom office by having a collecting box in each department, for staff to donate their loose change.
Ian commented, “It has been a privilege to support The Children’s Trust throughout the year and especially during the Christmas season. I’m delighted to say that many of our clients in the region have already expressed their appreciation of our decision to send e-cards this Christmas and donate the savings to this worthy cause.”
Holly Newman, Corporate Fundraiser at The Children’s Trust commented, “The donation of £750 will help fund not only our current projects we are working on which includes both the build of new family accommodation on site, helping more families to be together through difficult times, and increasing the level of community care we provide when children return back home to be with their families and friends. Every day running costs are also increasingly important to help provide children in our care with the best level of all round care, therapy and support. We are extremely grateful for all the support Vantis have provided the Trust over 2009 and we look forward to working with them more throughout next year.”
The Children’s Trust was nominated by Vantis as their chosen charity in recognition of the care, education and therapy it provides for children with multiple disabilities and complex health needs and rehabilitation services to children with an acquired brain injury.
Vantis’ Epsom location provides a broad range of value-added accountancy, tax, business services and professional advice to owner-managed businesses and private individuals.
