Times are hard for many businesses in the North East region – a large reduction in demand (over most sectors) has led to cashflow difficulties, creditor pressure, redundancies and, in some instances, closure.
To help alleviate some of these problems Vantis has organised a breakfast seminar which will cover all aspects of the recession and, hopefully, will provide you with a few hints and tips on how to try and protect you and/or your clients in the current economic climate.
The format of the seminar will be as follows:
- Simon Glyn from Vantis Business Recovery Services will share with you some of the early warning signs which can lead to a business failing, the issues he is currently seeing on a day to day basis in the real economy and provide you with some clues about what the banks may be looking out for when they look at your finances.
- Dave Broadbent from Vantis Business Recovery Services in Tees Valley and will give a whistle stop tour of what he does as an Insolvency Practitioner, touching on the various options available to individuals and directors of limited companies – if all else fails...
- Martin Barber, Client Partner, will consider tax planning in a recession.
- Finally, Terry Truran, one of our new Client Partners, will provide advice on business planning and improving profitability.
Breakfast and registration will begin at 8.00 ,with presentations beginning at 8.30 ,The seminar will end at approximately 10.30, with tea and coffee and an opportunity to speak individually with any of our speakers.
