Outsource Semi Senior
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Accounts preparation
- competent at review and preparation of final accounts
- competent in bookkeeping, double entry, control accounts
- Completes all work assigned to them
- Able to prioritise daily workload
- Is aware of and understands budgets and targets and works within them
- Deals with client queries in a timely and efficient manner and builds relationships with clients and client customers/suppliers
- Maintains client confidentiality outside the office including on client premises
- Supports team leaders on assignments as appropriate
- Effective use of IT including Microsoft Office (in particular Advanced Microsoft Excel), accounts packages, outlook, intranet
- Processes all work using software provided (experience of Viztopia and Sage would be advantageous)
- Completion and submission of timesheets within set deadlines
Experience / Qualifications
Key skills and knowledge:
- Able to organise and manage time efficiently and effectively
- Communicates effectively with senior members of the team
- Asks questions to improve knowledge and checks understanding
- Confident when speaking / working with clients
- Professional when dealing with clients and client customers/suppliers at all times
- Delivers quality services to clients
- Technically up to date
- Use technical skills to analyse situations and options for changes
Identifies key issues and options available
- Shows enthusiasm and commitment to undertake tasks as required and in particular seeing tasks through to completion
- Uses initiative
- Ideally studying for / qualified in AAT / ACA / ACCA, but not necessary
