Strategic Tax Administrator
Main duties and responsibilities:
Client facing:
- Following the sales procedure, ensuring the client has completed all relevant forms etc and provided relevant information. This will often involve meeting the client, sometimes off site.
Accounting:
- Assisting the team in preparing financial information relating to the solutions business.
Know your client:
- Assisting the team to ensure all clients entering into a tax solution have provided the appropriate KYC information – from a Vantis stand point and ensuring KYC complies with other regulatory requirement (e.g. Jersey).
File maintenance:
- Ensuring all relevant documentation, relating to a client, is in place.
General ad hoc duties:
- To include: photocopying, faxing, scanning etc
- Any other duties of an administrative nature as and when required
- Arranging meetings/booking meeting room equipment as required.
Experience / Qualifications
Key skills and knowledge:
- Uses initiative to ascertain best way forward
- Excellent communication skills
- Good organisational skills
- Confident manner when meeting / liaising with potential clients
- Previous accountancy and tax experience (from an administrative perspective)
- IT skills – Microsoft Excel / Word / Outlook
- Attention to detail
- Maintains confidentiality in relation to work – duties may involve the knowledge of senior Vantis employees tax/financial information
