Senior Administrator (Closing Department)

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Pro-active and professional administration of a delegated insolvency portfolio, comprising ADMs, CVLs, CPLs, CVAs, IVAs and BKYs, in accordance with laid down timescales
  • Production of good quality reports and letters
  • Completion of all statutory tasks and formalities in accordance with set deadlines. Maintaining an effective diary system in this respect
  • Discuss with Team Leader on a weekly basis regarding the progress of jobs; Ensure macro picture discussed prior to drafting creditors proposals
  • Maximising asset realisations and ensuring recoveries are pursued in a pro-active and cost effective way
  • Monitoring, maintenance and up-dating of check lists on a weekly basis, together with IPS diary lines
  • Taking personal responsibility for all allocated tasks and ensuring they are completed in a timely and professional manner
  • Assisting team leader in progressing cases to closure within agreed timescales

Technical/Development:

  • Self development, to enhance technical knowledge and to keep abreast of industry developments/new case law
  • Attend courses and study to attain the requisite professional qualifications to enhance performance and the profile of Vantis

Other:

  • Providing full support to Team Leader and to the business objectives of Vantis as a whole
  • Attend marketing events as required and assist in promotion of the Vantis image
  • Act professionally at all times and adhering to office dress code
  • Arrive punctually for work and maintain good time-keeping
  • Work overtime as and when required to meet the demands of the job
  • Generally, to do all that is reasonably required to meet the operational needs of the role in respect of both existing and new caseload, and the proficient progression thereof
