Overall Purpose:
To work closely with and assist the Regional Marketing Manager (South East & Thames Valley) to develop and implement campaign strategies supporting both local and national marketing objectives. Although a central marketing role, it will involve developing a good working relationship with Location Directors and key client partners to achieve success.
Main duties and responsibilities:
Planning & Co-Ordination:
- Assist the Regional Marketing Manager to implement a marketing plan and specific campaigns for South East & Thames Valley locations to deliver agreed revenue targets
- Co-ordinate and ensure delivery of marketing activities on-time and within budget
- Provide advice and guidance to Client Partners
- Develop and understand local market dynamics.
Communication & Reporting:
- Assist with the production of the Sales Pipeline Report for South East & Thames Valley, tracking campaigns and new business initiatives using input provided by Client Partners
- Participate in monthly marketing and business development meeting for each Location
- Represent Group Marketing, ensuring national initiatives are implemented locally
- Represent views of the Location and provide input into Group Marketing i.e. segmentation and targeting, website development, sales collateral, client newsletters, product development etc.
Campaign Management:
- Develop tracking and monitoring processes to evaluate and measure effectiveness of campaigns
- Manage local roll out of national PR initiatives
- Manage local client, prospect and introducer databases (with support and input from Group Marketing) which can be used to identify and generate opportunities.
Other Marketing Activities:
- Undertake ad-hoc research projects as required
- Identify and obtain local press coverage for Vantis using support from Group Marketing, when required
- Manage local content for the group internet and intranet sites
- Ensure all marketing activities comply with brand and regulatory requirements
- Liaise and manage external suppliers (when required).
