Marketing Assistant

Main duties & responsibilities:-

  • Co-ordinate the Sales Pipeline and gains reports to include regular meetings with client partners and updating the sales database accordingly
  • Represent marketing on Hospitality & Leisure and Technology & Telecoms industry groups
  • Responsibility for industry group and Wigmore St section of the intranet – preparing industry group profiles and uploading these onto the intranet – ensuring industry group information on the intranet is up to date
  • Ad hoc industry group projects e.g. compiling mailing lists/target lists, putting together client lists, input/approval of letters, organisation of industry group mailings and completion of action points that arise in industry group meetings
  • Responsible for regular review of all existing industry group and Wigmore St  website content/updating content/writing new content  
  • Use of web management system to upload new industry group and Wigmore St content, create new pages, amend content, add images
  • Web traffic improvement and search engine optimisation for industry group and Wigmore St sections of the website
  • Monitor and manage industry group website enquiries to ensure leads are followed up in a timely manner and that the outcome of these leads is recorded and managed as appropriate
  • Advertising - Profiles in publications and production of adverts: write content, work with designer to agree design, liaise with industry head, ensure brand/compliance guidelines are met, submit, check/agree proofs, liaising with publications to confirm deadlines/specifications/negotiate costs where necessary and ensure we receive what we agreed to. Monitoring of leads
  • Industry Cards - Produce content, liaise with industry group members across locations to finalise content. Responsible for proof reading content, ensuring corporate guidelines are met, working with the designers to agree imagery/design concepts, managing relationship with printers to ensure quality level of finished cards is high & deadlines met.  Also responsible for handling any industry card related enquiries in the initial stages, forwarding to appropriate industry group member and following this up
  • Co-ordinating the appropriate sign-offs on all documentation produced.

  • Competent IT skills – specifically Microsoft Packages and understanding of databases and back end of websites  and ability to produce graphs in PowerPoint
