Main duties and responsibilities:-
To support seniors on assignments:
- Understand requirements of each assignment such as timing, location, work required
- Complete tasks allocated to standard required by senior
- To receive feedback and discuss this with the senior, and apply to future assignments
- Use the senior as a question point to learn from regarding work and on-site conduct
To pass professional exams:
- Meet all deadlines and dates set by training company
- Plan study throughout the year producing consistent results above class average
Complete the requirements of the Initial Professional Development Programme, or other such work experience requirements as stipulated by the relevant Institute, on a consistent and timely basis
Complete and submit timesheets within set deadlines
Effective use of IT including Excel, accounts packages, Outlook and our intranet
Maintain client confidentiality outside the office including on client premises
Key skills and knowledge:-
Communicates clearly and effectively with senior members of the team
Collates and disseminates information within the team
Technically up to date
Self motivated to study
Actively seeks to understand Vantis and HLB Vantis Audit structure, industry, markets and core client base
Is aware of cost implications of actions
Asks pertinent questions and raises helpful enquiries
Maintains high professional standards of conduct and practice
Able to organise and manage time efficiently and effectively
Effective use of Vantis IT systems
Shows enthusiasm and commitment to undertake tasks as required and in particular seeing tasks through to completion
