Simon joined Vantis from the Law Enforcement-Investigation arm of HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC). Prior to that he was an Investigator in the National Investigation Service of HM Customs and Excise and has been an investigator for over fourteen years. During that time Simon gained a wealth of experience in criminal investigation work in, amongst others, VAT, Excise and disclosure issues in criminal proceedings.
Latterly, up until joining Vantis, Simon was an Overseas Liaison Officer based in Mumbai for three and a half years, with responsibility for intelligence and investigation matters in India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal - firstly with HMRC and then as a secondee to the Serious Organised Crime Agency. During that time he gathered further experience in the area of risk assessment and money laundering, working with the commercial sectors in India and the rest of South Asia.
