Richard, a Chartered Tax Adviser, began his career in tax with a London based firm of international tax consultants. He joined the Sharles Group (now Vantis Sharles) in 1972, becoming a tax partner in 1978.
Until the merger with Vantis, Richard was responsible for all of Sharles Group’s tax planning and consultancy activity and headed the practice’s tax compliance department. In addition Richard provides business support services to a number of clients with particular emphasis in the property development and investment industry.
