Richard qualified as a Chartered Tax Adviser in 1991. He has since followed a career covering all aspects of tax for small and medium sized businesses and their owners and has over 20 years’ experience of providing direct taxation advice to individuals and organisations.
Richard joined Vantis in March 2007 as our Corporate Tax Manager.
In addition, Richard provides direct tax consultancy to charities and not for profit organisations. In particular, he has undertaken structural reviews of charities, with a view to establishing and maintaining direct tax efficiency. He has also undertaken Gift Aid reviews, helping to protect revenue streams and obtain additional recoveries from HM Revenue & Customs. In the wider not for profit sector, Richard has advised clients on the impact of the underlying legal structure on their tax position.
