Michael is a Licensed Insolvency Practitioner and a member of the Association of Business Recovery Professionals. He left a major nationwide practice in 1986 to join Morton Thornton, a Vantis founder member.
Michael’s career spans some 27 years during which time he has gained experience in all areas of business recovery and insolvency. He has worked on a wide range of insolvency appointments, including receiverships for clearing banks and other secured lenders, administrations, liquidations, company voluntary arrangements, individual voluntary arrangements and bankruptcies. He has also advised owners, managers and other stakeholders of troubled businesses on recovery strategy and has extensive experience in solvent liquidations for owners retiring from business and groups reorganising their operations.
In his spare time Michael acts as treasurer to a local charitable organisation and has a keen interest in most sports.
