Prior to entering the profession Melvyn spent almost three years in the leisure industry. He joined the Sharles Group (now Vantis Sharles) in 1969, qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 1974 and became a partner in 1978. Melvyn held the post of Managing Partner of the Sharles Group from 1993 until the merger with Vantis in 2006.
Melvyn is an audit and business support services partner whose clients cover the whole spectrum of business activity and range from sole traders and partnerships to public limited companies. Melvyn is on the UK Register of Expert Witnesses, and the ACCA Register Of Business Advisers.
