Jan's role within Vantis is advising clients from owner-managed businesses and SME's through to large organisations looking to float. She advises on a diverse range of commercial, business development and technical issues and has a broad range of clients within her portfolio, with a particular specialism in companies who import food and produce into the UK with overseas parent companies and professional partnerships. Jan also has a responsibility for the Outsource department at Loughton. Jan additionally specialises in audit and is currently Audit Compliance Partner as well as being a member responsible for training (students) for HLB Vantis Audit.
Jan is a past president of the South Essex District Society of Chartered Accountants. The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales is divided into 22 districts. The role of the district societies is to promote the Institute to the general public and students, and to provide member services.
