Chris is a solicitor, having previously worked at Linklaters and Deloitte & Touche. He specialises in employee share and cash based incentive arrangements, with a particular focus on providing commercial, creative and tax efficient advice to small to medium sized enterprises and companies listed on the Alternative Investment Market. This includes advising on the design, implementation and operation of Enterprise Management Incentive plans, as well as all other tax approved share option and share based plans, long-term incentive plans, phantom plans, employee trusts and executive/employee incentives generally.
Chris also advises companies on the employee tax and corporate tax issues arising in connection with the operation of employee incentive arrangements, as well as their accounting implications. In addition, Chris has extensive experience in advising companies on pre and post IPO employee incentivisation, the impact of corporate transactions and restructurings on existing employee incentive arrangements, as well as all the corporate governance issues arising for directors and companies, in respect of their employee and executive incentive arrangements.
